SMS can be used for internal users to contribute content to your social media channels. Alerts can also be provided via SMS.

In order to use SMS in MediaFunnel, you must first purchase both an SMS phone number and a block of SMS message credits.  An SMS phone number costs $2.95 per month and SMS message credits start at $5.95 for 100 credits.

Order a Dedicated SMS Number

1. From the menu, click Settings

2. On the Settings page, click on Manage Your Subscription

3. On the Manage Your Subscription page, click on Add or Remove Dedicated SMS Numbers

4. On the Add or Remove Dedicated SMS Numbers page, select a U.S. State from the pick list and then select an area code from within the state.

5. Click the Continue button

6. On the Confirm Changes page, click the Confirm button

7. Enter your credit card information if you have not already done so

Order a Block of SMS Message Credits

1. From the menu, click Settings

2. On the Settings page, click on Manage Your Subscription

3. On the Manage Your Subscription page, click on Add SMS Message Credits

4. Select the package that you want from the pick list

5. Click the Order button

Associate an SMS Number with a Channel for Internal Posting

1. From the menu, click Settings

2. On the Settings page, click on Manage Accounts, 3rd Party Integration and Scheduler

3. In the 3rd Party Integration column for a Twitter account or a Facebook page, click on the Modify button

4. In the SMS Posting section, select an available number

Note: any internal users who post via SMS must have their mobile number entered in their user Profile
